Attending a bridal show for the first time can be overwhelming. “All these vendors compacted in one area - and I have to talk to all of them?” Not to worry... Our bridal shows are here for your convenience, and to help in your event planning. Bridal shows give you the opportunity to talk to many wedding professionals all in one place! No need to make appointments with 7 different photographers or 5 wedding cake companies to find which one you want to go with. Wedding shows bring the companies to you! With a little pre-planning, you can make the most of your bridal show experience.
Perfect Wedding Guide bridal shows offer you an opportunity to pre-register online to receive discounts off the show admission. Get show information, directions and parking instruction, along with a complete list of Show Sponsors and exhibitors. Before attending a bridal show, it’s important to know what wedding products and services you are considering. There will be companies from every category possible - have your list prepared & spend the most time with the companies that provide the services you still need. Plan to spend a good amount of time at the show. Fashion Shows and Showcases go on throughout the event & you don’t want to miss out. At the end of every show, a honeymoon giveaway will be awarded - brides must be present to win!
DURING THE SHOW
- Ask lots of questions, that’s why the vendors are there! They want to help you and you are under no pressure to buy from them. Find if the company is a good fit for you.
- Collect any information you’re interested in to review when you’re at home in a relaxed environment.
- Take notes on the actual brochures handed out & the show program- this will make it easier to remember when you make your follow up calls.
WHAT TO BRING
- Printed address labels which have your name, address, phone number, email address and wedding date to save you time when registering for prizes.
- Wedding color swatches and ideas to discuss with vendors
- A few pens and your checkbook in case you want to book any services or hold a date with a particular vendor. Some vendors offer discounts at the show.
- Wear comfortable shoes & clothes. There’s a lot of walking around at the bridal shows.
- Your fiancé!! If he can’t make it, bring your mom, sister, maid of honor and/ or friends. Having a support group is helpful, but not so large that you can’t accomplish what you came to the show for - to plan your wedding!
